Carol Susan Jane Danvers (aka Colonel Danvers, Cheeseburger, Binary, Warbird, Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel) was born in Boston, Massachusetts sometime in the mid-twentieth century and due to the strange, fluid nature of comics timelines is now... 30-something? Forever youthful, that one.

Carol is a woman of many talents. She was one of the United States Air Forces top pilots, followed by successful careers at NASA, the CIA, and Woman Magazine (from the fine folks that brought you The Daily Bugle. Oh, and she can fly, possesses super strength, and shoots energy beams from her hands. She's been part of many a superhero team, including leading the Mighty Avengers. Her current (paying!) gig is fighting bad guys as a member of the New Avengers, which comes with benefits like living in Tony Stark's mansion and hanging out with Squirrel Girl.

Carol has a tall, athletic build, long blonde hair, and blue eyes. When she's working, Ms. Marvel wears a black leotard with a gold lightning bolt on it, long black boots and gloves, a black mask, and, for color, a red sash. When she's not working, Carol usually wears something comfy, like her favorite well-worn jeans. (Conveniently, she can change outfits using her powers, so no need for phonebooths.) She takes the responsibilities of her job pretty seriously, but also likes to kick back and have fun with her friends. (Incidentally, she sorta has a thing for Spider-people. Jessica Drew, aka Spider-Woman has been Carol's closest friend for years, and lately she's been seen flirting with Peter Parker, better known as Spider-Man.)

She has a cat. It's name is Chewie.

Important note since this whole thing happens in a bar: Carol is a recovering alcoholic due to really awful plots in the 80s. She's been sober for years now, so root beers only for her.
